MANOLO FORTICH OPENS A NEW CHAPTER AS NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS TAKE OATH

Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremony

The Local Government Unit of Manolo Fortich ushers in a new season of quality public service through an inaugural address delivered by Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, as the newly elected local officials took their oaths at the Municipal Grounds in Barangay Tankulan on June 30, 2025.

Following a solemn mass and the hoisting of the Philippine flag, COMELEC Officer Gemma Ravelo presented the newly elected officials, who then proceeded to take their oaths. The Sangguniang Bayan members were sworn in first, followed by Vice Mayor Reynaldo L. Bagayas Jr., and lastly, Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño. Each official was accompanied by their family, and their oaths were administered by their chosen Barangay Captain. Sangguniang Bayan members Coun. Christy Leparto Salabe, Coun. Raquel Abales Bayacag, Coun. Joy Lavisores Cordovez, Coun. Elzevir A. Dagunlay, and Coun. Rina Edrote Quiño each pledged their commitment to fair leadership during the ceremony.

After the oath-taking, Mayor Quiño delivered his inaugural address, expressing deep gratitude to those who placed their trust in him and his administration. He highlighted the awards received by the municipality and its accomplishments at the provincial, regional, and national levels. In his address, he assured the public that more residents—including students, farmers, and job seekers—will benefit from the projects and programs under his 10-point agenda, with priority given to the poor. According to Mayor Quiño, the oath-taking is a symbolic act that signifies the commitment of the elected to uphold democratic principles and serve the people with integrity.

Also present at this momentous occasion was re-elected Bukidnon Vice Governor Clive D. Quiño, who extended his gratitude to the people who supported him despite the challenges he faced during the election.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Barangay Officials, members of the uniformed services, Barangay Volunteers, partner agencies, LGU employees, and Heads of Offices led by Municipal Administrator Engr. Joie Caesar M. Gaid, along with members of the community who came to personally witness the oath-taking and inaugural speech.

The event concluded with the closing remarks of Vice Mayor Bagayas, following the Pledge of Commitment of the newly elected officials, which reinforced their collective resolve to work together for the development and prosperity of Manolo Fortich.
